Relic Entertainment is a leading developer of electronic entertainment software. Specializing in 3D real-time strategy games, Relic has released a number of innovative PC games. In 2004 Relic joined the THQ, Inc. family of external studios allowing the team to expand their vision and begin development of next-generation content. Relic is now building on their RTS legacy with the Essence Engine, and incorporating all of the next-generation graphical effects and other significant technological upgrades.
