Kim completed her Bachelor’s at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Computational Media. She started out in Mechanical Engineering and switched majors after discovering a passion for coding.

Through her undergraduate degree, Kim has gained a broad overview of many skills necessary to the digital media industry, from a variety of programming languages to graphic design, interactive narrative, UI design, communicating with clients, and even some experimentation with AR/VR. Kim’s knowledge also includes a number of Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Kim also has experience working on a wide range of projects such as working as a project manager for a word-find game through her senior capstone, a Level Designer and Environment Artist on a Unity 3D platformer called Potion Master’s Apprentice, and also on numerous graphic design projects.

At the MDM program, Kim wants to further develop her interactive and collaborative skills as well as work on projects with professionals and clients. Through her graduate studies, Kim also wanted to gain more hands on experience and create projects that can add to her portfolio. Kim also has a goal of improving her Unity skills and making more refined games.

Kim is passionate about video games, primarily on her Xbox, and enjoys spending her free time making art and speed paints.
