Visual Candy

Team Visual Candy is developing a narrative-based VR installation for the Royal BC Museum. The experience is designed to engage students in their late teens and encourage learning and collaboration.

The lab of Dr. Yvonne Coady at the University of Victoria, Dr. Derek Jacoby at QVirt Labs, and the Royal BC Museum are collaborating on multiple AR/VR projects designed to bring the world-class collection of museum artifacts in to more accessible digital forms. The current collaboration is focused on the Student Learning Centre and making the museum collections interesting and engaging to teenagers and young adults.
