Every September, the Centre for Digital Media welcomes a new cohort of students to the program, and welcomes back returning MDM-ers. Although there is always a buzz here at the CDM, Septembers are always a special time…
The CDM is elated to welcome Cohort 7 to the Masters of Digital Media program, the biggest cohort yet. With students from all around the globe – Egypt, Malaysia, China, The United States, Brazil, and Mexico, just to name a few – the new cohort has students from all walks of life, possessing a wide range of creative talent. Architects, designers, cinematographers, and writers - you name it. To see our newest students’ profiles, be sure to check out our Cohort 7 student page.
This September also marks the first semester that we’ll spend in our new building, CDM | 685, which, as you know, is another extremely exciting development for the Centre for Digital Media. Students will get to work in brand new project rooms, learn in pristine classrooms, and, for some students who have decided to call Apartments @ CDM home, will get to live in brand new studio apartments just above the new school.
On a more bittersweet note, we’ll be sending our Cohort 5 and a few Cohort 6’s off into the world, where they will continue their quest to become the new leaders in digital media. While we’re incredibly proud of our graduands, it’s always a little sad to see them go. Anybody who’s spent any time at the CDM knows that we’re a big family; students are an integral part of that. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
