Arden is a visiting student from the University of British Columbia where she is in her final year of her Bachelor of Science in Honours Computer Science. Her studies have focused on Computer Graphics and she is currently completing a research project related to real-time rendering of motion capture data.
Arden also completed an 8-month internship at Moving Picture Company, a VFX studio, where she worked as a Software Developer to create tools to improve artist workflows and provide technical solutions to allow artists more creative freedom. As a software developer Arden aims to write programs that allow users to unleash their creativity and free them from the constraints or frustrations posed by technology.
At the CDM, Arden hopes to continue to support artists to the best of her ability while also learning more about digital media technology and honing her skills as a programmer to work on some amazing projects
