Krishna Sriram | alumni
Krishna has been involved in more than 30 film projects, including the writing and cinematography of a feature film. He specialized in cinematography, and also has experience in writing and directing. After his education at the Metropolitan Film School in Berlin, he had the good fortune of serving as an assistant cinematographer to Emmy award winning cinematographer Alphonse Roy. Krishna’s work has been showcased at film festivals worldwide and covered by major newpapers. His directorial debut, 'The Edge', starring Jeff Burrell (The Ghost Writer, Nymphomaniac, Pandorum), won an award at the Miami Independent Film Festival for best narrative film under 30 minutes. It was also screened at Cinefiesta '15, Puerto Rico, USA and MIA '16, Manaus, Brazil.
Krishna is also a self taught UX designer. Krishna hopes to refine his UX design and research skills at the MDM program. He is passionate about designing virtual experiences in VR and AR. He wants to explore creating non-linear stories, and learn how to direct the audience through such an experience. Apart from his work, Krishna loves to pursue sports, and takes plenty of photographs while traveling. His love for travel finally led to living in six countries.
