Christina is an Interactive Developer who has interest in UX/UI design. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 2018 where she specialized in Mathematical Application in Economics and Finance, majored in Statistics and minored in Economics.
Four years of undergraduate studies had taught her plenty of theorems and algorithms, and she wanted to put knowledge into practice in her master’s program. She took several computer science courses at the University of Waterloo and University of Toronto. She knew technology was changing the world, and so always had interest in programming and visual art; thus, she decided to change her path and dig into the technology industry. Her friend motivated her to do something she was passionate about. Therefore, with her previous programming experience, she began to explore digital media deeper. She learned programming on Pluralsight and want to work as a front-end or UI developer who has a knowledge of back-end.
She has a strong interest in game design. She did a project about automated puzzle solving, which required her to design Sudoku, Peg solitaire, Word ladder and MN puzzles, and then wrote a depth-first search and a breadth-first search to solve existing puzzles. After she ran her codes on Python, she was hoping to visualize these puzzles and turn them into real games, and digital media would allow her to achieve this goal. She wants to combine her programming skills with visual design and be a more comprehensive employee in the field.
