A designer with a passion for digital production, Dean’s interests lie in the cultural impact of visual communication in urban environments, and how the democratization of product development is helping to evolve the idea of brand identity. He is a believer in design and advertising as art for urban beautification.

With a B.A. from the University of Toronto, and a B.Ed. from the University of Windsor, Dean has taught communication technology and applied graphics for over three years. Prior to this, he designed murals and billboards for nightclubs and businesses, and contributed to the development of several branding concepts for Toronto entrepreneurs and entertainment groups, including participating bands of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival.

To Dean, the Master of Digital Media program provides an opportunity to broaden one’s skillset, and heighten one’s perceptions of the possibilities within the digital landscape.

Dean plans to continue his journey into Digital Project Management and Design.
