The Term 1 Academic Excellence Award recognizes and rewards students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement by earning the top grade in Term 1 of Masters of Digital Media (MDM) Program
Award Value
- Total Value: $2,000 annually.
- Ties/Multiple Recipients: In the event of a tie for the top grade, the $2,000 award will be split equally among all qualifying top-ranking students (e.g., $1,000 each for two top students).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the award, a candidate must:
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in the MDM program.
- Have completed all required Term 1 coursework and assessments by the official Term 1 end date.
- Hold the highest final percentage grade/GPA in Term 1 among all eligible peers in the cohort.
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the institution.
Selection Process
- Application Requirement: No formal application is required. All eligible students are automatically considered upon final grade submission for Term 1.
- Selection Body: The selection will be determined and verified by Student Services. The recipient(s) will be formally notified via official institutional email.
- Selection Timeline: Final grade reviews and winner selection will take place within 4 weeks following the official deadline for Term 1 grade submissions.
- Disbursement: The award will be credited directly to the recipient’s student account in Term 2.
