Jiayu holds an MFA in Industrial Design and an MA in Design Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he developed a strong foundation in both design craft and strategic thinking.
Throughout his career, Jiayu has led product design at some of the industry's most recognized organizations. At Yahoo, he served as the lead product designer for yahoo.com, shaping the experience for one of the web's most visited destinations. At TELUS Digital, he was the founding designer for FueliX, TELUS's AI platform, driving the product's design direction from the ground up.
