Tiz is new to the CDM faculty and will be teaching Visual Storytelling. Outside of CDM she works as a multimedia producer and has over 30 years of professional experience working across games, television, film, and tech industries.
Her career started in television where she worked at a broadcast/motion designer for the CBC, CTV, and Rogers Television. Her game industry experience includes Electronic Arts (video editor), Relic Entertainment (UI artist), and Microsoft Game Studio's, The Coalition (lead marketing artist and video editor). Some of her film credits include: R.I.P.D., Chappie, The Last Witch Hunter, and Jurassic World (FUI/playback graphics).
She has also taught at Emily Carr in the Continuing Studies department and at VFS in Foundation, Digital Design, and Game Design programs.
Outside of work, she's a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and love spending time with her dog.
