Ferma is the co-founder and CEO of the largest eco-inspired virtual world for kids in North America, EcoBuddies (www.ecobuddies.com), and former eco-educator and social worker for children and parents. Using her unique skills as a social worker in the virtual world industry, Ferma has been central to the creation of EcoBuddies’ safe and educational online setting which has over 200,000 registered players. Ferma is passionate about engaging and inspiring elementary school-aged children to learn about endangered animals and the environment through interactive fun and play, as well as being a resource for families to learn about Internet Safety.
