Yuanquan Song (Jackson Song) is a cross-disciplinary product strategist with a focus on creative thinking, project execution, and emerging AI applications. He is currently a graduate student in the Master of Digital Media (MDM) program at the Centre for Digital Media (CDM).

With a background in Environmental Art Design (B.A.) and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University (Chicago), Jackson combines design sensibility with strategic business acumen. Prior to joining the MDM program, he accumulated over five years of project management experience, leading the planning and execution of large-scale provincial competitions, government-sponsored public events, and product development initiatives in the manufacturing sector. He is skilled in driving collaborative execution under complex and dynamic conditions.

Jackson previously worked at Berry Global’s Asia-Pacific R&D Center, where he supported cross-border coordination and helped standardize project workflows. He also held a branding and marketing position at a Canadian company, gaining experience in multicultural communication and local market execution. As an independent entrepreneur, Jackson has led multiple digital products from ideation to launch, with a particular focus on integrating AI into user experience design and decision-support systems.

He holds dual international certifications—PMP (Project Management Professional) and NPDP (New Product Development Professional)—and is currently pursuing the CPMAI (AI Project Management) certification. Simultaneously, he is actively studying machine learning and Python programming to deepen his technical fluency and better bridge AI capabilities with product innovation and team empowerment. Jackson believes the future of product leadership lies at the intersection of user insight, algorithmic logic, and cross-functional system thinking.
