Omamah Almousa, MD, MSc

Dr. Omamah Almousa is currently a vascular surgery resident at McMaster University. She has successfully completed two years of general surgery residency training at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in Simulation for leadership and healthcare education at the University of British Columbia.

Dr Almousa is an academic scholar from the department of surgery at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. She has completed her Masters Degree in Science of Surgery at the University of British Columbia.

Dr Almousa has a special interest in utilizing new technologies to enhance surgical and medical education worldwide. She developed projects in Tele-health education and co-authored clinical studies in evolving surgical techniques and procedures.

Also, she has directed national Saudi health-related campaigns for training and awareness, as well as participated in organizing local and international surgical conferences.

Dr Almousa believes in creative methods for education and innovative learning using cutting edge technologies.
