A general surgery resident at the University of Toronto and a fellow in Simulation for leadership and healthcare education at the University of British Columbia.
Dr Almousa is an academic scholar from the department of surgery at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has completed her Masters Degree in Science of Surgery at the University of British Columbia, with thesis in clinical thoracic surgery.
Dr Almousa has a special interest in utilizing new technologies to enhance surgical and medical education, and have participated and co-authored clinical studies in evolving surgical techniques and procedures. Also, she has directed few Saudi national health-related campaigns for training and awareness, as well as participated in organizing local and international surgical conferences.
Dr Almousa believes in creative education and innovative learning experience.
