Edward is a Bachelor in Game Design at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, São Paulo, Brazil, and has a diploma in Sound Design for Visual Media from Vancouver Film School.
For the past two and a half years living in Vancouver, Edward got a lot of experience as a Sound Mixer and Boom Operator on film and TV sets, working with personalities such as the director and actor Mackenzie Gray from "Man Of Steel" and "Shooter", the Sci-fi Queen Amanda Tapping and Peter DeLuise from the series "Stargate", Lauren Holly from "Dumb and Dumber" and Joe Carter from Toronto Blue Jays. He also did post production sound as a Sound Editor, Sound Designer, Foley Artist, Field Recordist and Re-Recording/Mixer for award winning films such as "Ghost of Europe", winning best international film at the 168h film project based in LA, had films distributed by iTunes and Netflix such as "Captive", and films screened at Cannes such as "Under the Bridge of Fear".
Edward joined the MDM program to have the opportunity to work with people from other digital media fields and expand his abilities and knowledge with interactive audio for interactive media, as well for expanding the gates though other fields. He believes the connections and the time to study at the MDM will bring him immense advantages and better projections. Also, in the future, he wants to start teaching linear and interactive audio in schools, universities and give workshops.
