Jorge is a Music Producer specializing in Sound Design for film, TV and videogames; he is also an experienced musician with an extensive musical background, working recently scoring for digital media.

Playing the piano since the age of 6, Jorge has always been passionate about music, leading him to pursue a career later on in music production. He graduated from Music Production Engineering at “Tecnologico de Monterrey” at Puebla, and moved to Canada to continue to develop his skills as a Sound Designer studying at Vancouver Film School, where he collaborated with Game Designers and Film Producers in many projects as Lead Sound Designer as well as Dialogue Editor and Mixer.

He has over 15 years of experience as a music performer and more recently as a composer, writing original music for TV shows, videogames, musical theatre and short films.

Jorge’s fascination for game and film development brought him to the MDM program to expand his knowledge of digital media and teamwork dynamics to eventually work as a sound designer in the industry.
