Currently completing a BSc in Computer Science (focus in Machine Learning) at UBC, building on a prior BSc in Psychology and a Writing Certificate from Queen's. My research applies hyperbolic neural networks to single-cell transcriptomic data, with methods that extend to neural network design more broadly.
Before returning to school, I spent several years at Ford Canada, first as a Warranty Analyst working with dealerships across Canada, then as a Data Analyst for national parts sales. I'm now moving toward a career in ML.
I'm drawn to both the technical side of science and the creative side of writing and design, and working with CDM helps me develop those creative interests and hobbies.
