Marty Yaskowich

Marty manages the Tribal DDB Account Services and Strategy team and is the lead digital planner for Telus Business Solutions, the Canadian Tourism Commission, BC Dairy Foundation, The Big Wild conservation movement and Intuit Canada. His work for Bootlegger and the Telus 'Mike' brand has been recognized nationally and internationally by the Creativity Awards, Applied Arts, the Canadian Marketing Awards and the Lotus Awards.

Before joining Tribal in 2005, Marty managed integrated and interactive marketing programs for clients that included Starbucks, Amazon.ca, ADT Security Canada and DaimlerChrysler's US Product and Sales division. Throughout his 10-year marketing career, Marty has worked in a variety of agency roles including digital strategy/planning, brand planning, account management and business development.

Prior to entering the advertising field, Marty was an accomplished editor and journalist with the Edmonton Sun, Saskatoon StarPhoenix and Kelowna Daily Courier and could also be heard on-air with the Okanagan's news source CKOV 630 AM.

Marty is a graduate of the UBC Internet Marketing program, is a Certified Internet Marketing strategist and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Regina. He is member of the International Interactive Marketing Association and the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Marty is an avid sports fan and photographer. He can often be found skiing, riding and hiking the North Shore mountains with his wife and 13-month-old son.
