Sherry Zhao, PhD is the Founder & CEO of Kalino Bio, a Vancouver-based biotech company developing next-generation companion animal medicine. She holds a BSc from Peking University, a PhD in Chemistry from UBC (UBC Chemistry Young Alumni Award), and a miniMBA from UBC Sauder. Before founding Kalino Bio, she spent a decade as a Regional Director at Mitacs, leading landmark partnerships across Canada's innovation ecosystem. She serves on the board of the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum and the GVBOT Scale-up Centre for SMEs advisory committee.
