Lena is a Multidisciplinary Designer specializing in the educational field. In addition to holding an Interactive Communication Engineer Diploma, she holds a Master's Degree in Special Education from Tel-Aviv University.
Lena has gained experience in several design fields including UI/UX, interactive and graphic design, illustration and product development. During nearly ten years of her design career, Lena has worked with a variety of clients including banks, heritage centers, medical VC's and startups on both digital and physical products as an employee and as a freelancer. She has been responsible for product development in different domains and stages, from the beginning of product strategy and to marketing.
In each project she takes on, Lena aims to meet the business goals of her clients by producing great usability and precise design. For example, Lena developed and designed a toy for Edushape Ltd. to help toddlers and young children with difficulties understanding social situations (i.e., children suffering from PDD) to express their feelings and recognize how a feeling and emotion can be expressed with the help of facial vocabulary. This product has won multiple awards during the years and had great success from retailers and buyers in both the private and educational market.
Lena's goal with the MDM program is to explore the latest technologies and approaches in interaction design to be able to implement them in her future projects.
