Mohamad El Taki

Taki is a product designer, engineer, and co-founder of Decimal. His early background was in web and product design, with a focus on UI, front-end development, and design systems. Over time, his work expanded into software development and the systems behind the products he was designing.

His work has taken him through aviation, legal technology, capital markets, and infrastructure. He began closer to the interface, then moved across the stack into broader product and engineering work, eventually taking on responsibility for teams and product direction while remaining closely involved in the work itself.

Taki joined the Centre for Digital Media to deepen his understanding of digital design across different mediums and disciplines, and to work more closely with people from varied creative and technical backgrounds. The program gave him the opportunity to build on that foundation through collaborative projects spanning design, technology, storytelling, and interaction.
