Cody is a software developer and a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) program at the University of British Columbia. He has helped to build web and mobile applications through internships with two startup companies. Always seeking opportunities to contribute to his community, he has volunteered with the Code the Change Foundation since September 2018 to build websites and web applications for local, nonprofit organizations.

Prior to enrolling in the BCS program, Cody was a professor in the School of Business at Centennial College where he taught courses in business communications, business software applications, financial mathematics, and career planning. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Toronto and he is interested in the intersection of narrative and technology.

By collaborating with an interdisciplinary team at the Centre for Digital Media, he hopes to improve his technical skills and learn about game design and development. Cody aims to contribute by combining his experience as a software developer with his interest in narrative and his knowledge as a former educator.
