Tak is a UBC student currently in his last term of the Bachelor of Computer Science program. He previously completed a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and a Master of Science in cell and developmental biology, both also at UBC. The focus of his previous research was on cancer progression, specifically looking at how physical forces affect the movement of cancer cells. In addition to his classes, he has also completed co-op work terms at a local software company handling reports and assessments. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling to new places.
