Takeaki Yamasaki is a software developer, and he is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Arts majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Spanish at the University of British Columbia. When he was in the third year, he also studied at University College London in England for one year as an exchange student.
In his previous internship experience at a startup in Japan, he worked on improving the web interface of a fashion social networking service. Not only limited to front-end development, he also implemented and added a new feature in back-end, and played an important role in increasing its daily active users.
As an undergraduate joining a CDM project, he is hoping to learn not only new technologies but also interpersonal and teamwork skills from hands-on experience of working with interdisciplinary team members.
