Craig Slagel completed his Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree in 1995 from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge England. He then moved to the United States to follow his goal of working in the computer graphics industry. He studied and worked at the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC before moving to San Francisco where he taught at the Academy of Art College. Following that, he obtained a position as Senior Graphics Trainer at Electronic Arts, Redwood City, CA. Craig has also worked as a freelance artist, taught at Dartmouth College and consulted for Autodesk. For the last two years Craig has worked as an educator at Rhythm & Hues Studio in Los Angeles. While at R&H Craig has supported production on movies including Alvin and the Chipmunks, Marmaduke and Yogi Bear. Craig has been interested in pursuing a master’s degree for many years, and decided to take time off from his work to achieve this goal. After graduating, Craig's plans range from returning to the visual effects industry or start his own Digital Media company.
