Aljohani is Saudi Arabian although she was born in the United States. As an American, she wondered why she could not speak or write English perfectly, and so decided to continue her studies in the English language as a major from the time she was 17. When she finished studying her bachelor's degree, she came to Canada to continue studying in digital media. After the MDM program, she would like to work as a professional filmmaker or in some other area concerning digital media.
