Arron has been teaching various software engineering and digital media topics at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) for 16 years in the Computer Systems Technology (CST) department. Topics include digital media authoring, 2D/3D animation, mobile development, web development, and data modeling.
Additionally, Arron's interests in writing have lead him to author a book "Creating Content Management Systems in Java" by Cengage Learning (formerly Thomson-Delmar), write articles for IBM developerWorks, and act as technical editor for other authors.
The MDM program's amalgamation of technology and art fits perfectly with Arron's interests in using software and digital media together to form creative content with an educational and storytelling focus.
