Carlos Duralde

Duralde, Carlos_Web.jpg

Carlos has a strong passion for writing and narrative in the digital sphere, namely in gaming. After graduating with Honors with a B.S. in Computational Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst in the eCommerce sector to gain Agile Development experience, all the while writing in his free time and even submitting to competitions such as “The Future Powered by Fiction” contest sponsored by Intel, where he won the grand prize. He is currently earning his master’s at the Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver, where he is working to incorporate his narrative style into larger-scale projects alongside motivated teams. He sees video games as the perfect platform for storytelling and looks to innovate the way stories are conveyed in games through his fervent creativity and through the use of new and emerging technologies.
