Cherry Kwong is a UX designer and at the same time an active learner, being passionate about exploring how to bring new technology, bring useful and delightful experiences to users and businesses. Cherry holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Psychology. She has previously worked in the financial sector and the creative industry at roles where she could practice user-centric problem solving and interact with many people. From her education and work experience, she got many takeaways and gained the skills in:

  • Quantitative research and statistical analysis of big data, especially in investigating human behaviours, with the knowledge of human cognition, personality, and environmental influences
  • Qualitative user research
  • UX/UI design with the balance of focusing on the needs between users and the business side
  • Graphic design for internal and external communications
  • Event planning and facilitation
  • Communicating with clients and co-workers with empathy, and effectively solving the problems for them by understanding their underlying concerns
  • Managing client relationship
  • Working attentively in a timely manner

During her spare time, she likes to do creative work, such as music production and drawing. At CDM, Cherry is excited to leverage her skillsets and apply them in a wide range of digital projects; explore, practice logical design thinking with forward-thinking collaborators from different backgrounds, of course, learn from them. Together with her enthusiasm, Cherry envisions all these would better prepare her for becoming a holistic UX consultant or proposition professional in various fields
