Ruth graduated from American University and has worked in the game industry as a game designer and product designer specializing in storytelling. As a gamer, she has a strong interest in inter-disciplinary perspective of games and the creation of purposeful games.
She started her journey as a game copywriter, and now she has hands-on experience in various genres of games, such as Role-Playing, Simulation, Casual and Adventure. She is familiar with the game production pipeline and has boosted her UX design competence in her workplace. During her study at American University, she was fascinated by meaningful/serious games—the application of games in a non-gaming context, especially "edutainment" and health games.
For the next stages of her journey in CDM, she is keen to turn her educational games into more of a commercial success, and explore more widely in genres such as productivity apps and interactive media in VR/AR.
