Manny is a user experience oriented product manager from China. His academic background is in English Literature, but as he's enthusiastic about technology, he spent the last three years in tech companies. He enjoys creative writings and user experience analysis.
He worked for Bing as a data auditor for search engine relevance and spam/junk measurement in two markets (China and Japan). During these two years, through study of different data scenarios, he developed skills of data analysis, user analysis and team management. He led a team to focus on data projects for machine learning with more than 50 successful data projects.
Two years later he transferred to a local search giant Sogou as a business product manager. He worked on search ad relevance that brought Sogou's ad relevance to the best in China. He came up with an ads answer product through data analysis of user activity and revenue trend that increased daily revenue. He also worked as an intern manager for recruitment, training and management.
Manny joined the MDM program to work with creative peers and learn from the best. He's also using this as an opportunity to learn more about UX & UI design as well as the foundations of programming. He wishes to push boundaries of innovation in hope of pursuing an entrepreneurial path in the future.
Manny loves music. He wishes to bring people together through music and technology.
