Florence Wong | student
Flo is an artist, designer, and programmer whose life goal is to end factory farming and wishes to use tech as a tool to address social justice issues.
Before coming to CDM, Flo has had a variety of experience working in the arts and education realm, guiding visitors at the Walker Art Centre in Minneapolis, MN, and teaching printmaking classes at Highpoint Centre for Printmaking. She also operated a freelancing business on the side, designing graphics for animal advocacy organization Compassionate Action for Animals, creating commissioned artworks for small businesses and individuals, and exhibiting one solo art show and two group art shows at different exhibits in Minneapolis.
At CDM, she wants to advance her design and programming skills to design better systems, become an even more effective storyteller and better advocate for causes.
