Jessie Altura graduated in Fine Arts at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Since his graduation he became an active participant in the Calgary art scene: volunteering and participating in artist-run centres, showing and performing works at local galleries and public places, and is a board member of the southern Alberta performance art festival, Mountain: Standard Time.
His desire to learn in an interdisciplinary and collaborative field with his creative skills attracted him to the MDM Program. In the program he looks forward to understanding more of the digital media industry, as well as finding a bridge between visual arts and digital media.
