Jiahui Li is Vancouver-based sound designer and audio producer. She has worked in audio industry in the United States, Canada and China, being passionate about using sound to tell story, exploring the cutting edge audio technology and creating educational content to help other audio producers.
Not only dedicating herself to sound design, she strives to deepen the learning of Wwise, coding and game design. She has three games developed in Unity: Frog Ninja, Renaissance Quiz, and Snow Boarder, and some projects made in Max/MSP/Jitter.
As a lead engineer in various kinds of recording session such as orchestra, rock band, and voice over, Jiahui produces music in different genres. She collaborated with composer Catherine Joy and recorded the music for an award winning film Home is a Hotel. She is also the recording, mixing and mastering engineer for the classical album To My Little Dreamer of Lexicon Classics. In 2022, as a lead recording engineer, she collaborated with Sophia Bacelar, the cellist in The World of Hans Zimmer, for an electronic and cello album Nocturnes.
Jiahui worked as an audio engineer in a technology company at Shanghai. Collaborating closely with audio DSP engineers and software developers to design the best sound system and sound effects. She has tuned the sound system for BYD Auto, HUAWEI, FORD, XPENG, etc.
