Kareem is a Senior Egypt-Registered Architect with 10+ years experience. Utilizing his project-based experience and team leadership skills, and heavily depending on his artistic aptitude and design background, Kareem has been playing the role of Project Manager on industry projects at the CDM. He joined the MDM program because he wants to explore new links in the design world. He aspires to someday create a paradigm for architecture that effectively balances the two poles - media technology and the built environment.
Prior to moving to Vancouver, Kareem resided in Dubai for 6 years. From there, he travelled considerably through the Middle East, Central Asia, and South America. He has worked on multimillion dollar projects in Dubai and internationally. And in parallel, launched his photography website kareemnegm.com. Specializing in Cityscapes, Architecture and Abstracts, Kareem had many works published and shot the cover of Middle East Architect Magazine twice in 2009.
