Matt is from Calgary, AB graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Computer Science specialized in Software Engineering.
Throughout his undergrad, he took part in Co-op work terms at Shaw Communications and the University of Victoria primarily as a full-stack software developer. Furthermore, he has contributed significantly to the open source software organization Open-RPC which develops the request protocol tooling commonly used in cryptocurrency and blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum Classic (ETC).
After graduating from the University of Victoria, Matt was in search of an opportunity to expand his skill set into visual and interactive technologies and decided to join the MDM program. Matt has many hobbies in the creative realm, specifically world-building, gaming, and short film production. During his time at the MDM program, Matt hopes to use his technical knowledge to assist in the development of the project while embracing his more creative side.
