A concept artist and an avid gamer, Mike Tam is fascinated by art in games and the future of visual experiences in digital media. Originally from Calgary, Mike studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Visual Communications where he learned to quickly draft concepts for stories and games. At the College, Mike worked alongside a highly talented group of artists, who helped him refine his ability to provide and receive feedback, which helped him during his freelancing career. Feeling a yearning for more industry leadership experience and to learn more about digital media development, Mike decided to pursue a Master of Digital Media. Today he continues to develop as an artist and is also working to hone his collaboration and digital software skills. He looks forward to pursing a challenging creative career when he graduates.
