Nicole Gao

I’m a 2D animator, storyboard artist, and game designer. I help clients using my skills in critical thinking, storytelling, and 2D animation (both in traditional animation and rigging puppets). I have experience directing independent 2D animation short films, and am familiar with the animation pipeline. I am responsible for character design, animatic storyboard, concept art, layouts, animation, puppet rigging, and final rendering. I mainly use Toon Boom Harmony, Toon Boom Storyboard, and Adobe Set.

I worked as a pet toy designer for 4+ years, I created many toy designs for chain stores in the North American area. Currently, I’m working on an independent RPG game, Panacea. My role is to create the visuals of the game, which includes character art, puppets, animation, UI/UX, and props design.
