Yalda started her undergraduate degree as a computer scientist. After a year, she switched to the faculty of Interactive Arts and Technology that was made out of a combination of Art, Design, Computer Science, and New Media. During these years, as an artist, Yalda explored many different techniques and approaches for creativity, varied from playing around with sensors and creating Interactive Installations, to 3D Modeling, 3D Printing, Concept Art, Film Production, and Graphic Design. In the meanwhile, she continued her exploration with landscape, portrait, and event photography. Yalda entered the Master of Digital Media Program in September 2013 and has been performing as a Photographer, Concept and 2D Artist, User Interface Designer, and Project Manager of different school projects as well as projects that are done with real clients such as Electronic Arts and Recon Instruments.
