Ye Liu is a UX/UI designer based in Vancouver. Ye holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology at Southwest University of Science and Technology and completed her Environmental Design study from China Academy of Art. She comes out from a combination of art, design, and computer science background, which enables her to see things through both developer and designer perspectives.
Throughout the course of her career, she has perfected her creativity and team leadership abilities and contributed to communication, cross-functional teamwork, and socialization toward team efforts and business improvements in her previous role. Her past work mainly covered form UX/UI design, brand design, to photography. She has a user-focused mentality that helped to foster her to become a quick-witted designer.
She is an active contributor in the design thinking process and enjoys working on meaningful projects and energizing lifelong learning. She is also a fast learner and has the curiosity to take challenges and extend her skill-sets.
Her goal with the MDM program is to work in an inclusive environment; collaborate with groups of various backgrounds, and become a well-versed designer by gaining hands-on experience from challenging projects and industry work. In the near future, she hopes to work on more far-reaching projects in an agile environment and propose a possibility for a better lifestyle.
