Austin is a software developer and filmmaker based out of Vancouver, BC. With experience in directing, producing, and web app development, he finds passion in mixing the worlds of art and science.
While studying at UBC, he directed both narrative and documentary shorts, and produced films with crews of 40+ people. After graduating with a degree in film production, he began exploring innovative forms of storytelling, creating immersive 360 video tours for UBC. This sparked his interest in the potential of AR/VR/XR to convey information and emotion via experience. He decided to pursue a degree in computer science to explore the technical elements of digital media.
