Currently a student in the Bachelor of Computer Science program at UBC (expected graduation May 2014), Jonathan has a previous degree in Nutritional Science and has a background scientific research. Since going back to UBC to study computer science, Jonathan has worked in academia by performing Bioinformatics research for a Microbiology Laboratory at UBC, as well as in industry as a software engineer for a Big Data company in Vancouver. Working in the field has helped Jonathan realize his passion for software design and programming and he is looking forward to applying this passion to projects at the CDM.
