Designing Responsive Learning Systems with Elumai

Back to Projects

We are collaborating with Elumai, a Canadian AI company, to address a common problem in digital learning: moments of confusion often go unseen, leaving learners without meaningful support. When digital platforms fail to respond at these moments, learning can feel isolating, progress slows, and motivation drops, particularly in self-guided and online study environments.

Our team is designing the user experience and visual systems for a learning platform that aims to support learners more effectively as they study. The work explores how interaction design, motion, diagrams and visual communication can help learners stay oriented, understand their progress, and move through material more seamlessly. The project considers how information is presented, how feedback is communicated, and how the interface supports focus without adding unnecessary complexity. The goal is an experience that feels clear and well-paced rather than mechanical.

This work is brought together through a focused prototype demonstrating reusable, integration-ready visual systems. Designed for postsecondary learners, adult upskillers, and instructors, these visual patterns are intended to fit naturally into real learning and teaching workflows across web and mobile environments, supporting a more responsive and human learning experience.
