Digital Station Walkthrough with PCI Development

PCI Developments is seeking an in-house interactive visualization tool that helps represent the complex network of potential public-use areas, multi-transit modes, and residential housing at GNW-ECU Station. Presently, the scale of the proposed project struggles to be fully communicated to internal stakeholders through traditional methods of drawings and renderings.

Current solutions for visualization struggle to represent how it feels to be part of the public who will step foot in this area. There is a lack of immersion, and navigation tools are unintuitive and difficult to use. This tool would leverage a highly visual experience, aided by guided navigation, environment controls over day/night cycles, and UI indicators for street names and key locations.

Successful implementation of this tool would help PCI’s internal team to immerse themselves into the shoes of a visitor of the site and more vividly showcase the future of the area. The result would aid PCI in clearer decision making and create stronger alignment during development.
