Drink Tracker Mobile Application with CAUDS

Alcohol use among Canadian youth aged 19-24 is a significant concern, often escalating into serious health, social, and academic issues, and potentially leading to addiction in adulthood. Despite this prevalence, adequate support systems often fail to meet young people’s needs. 

Team Rad is addressing this gap by developing a mobile application specifically designed to support this demographic. Our focus is on providing accessible tools and information to those seeking to understand or reduce their alcohol consumption – regardless of their motivations. The application features a central, interactive drink tracker that allows users to easily log their intake. This data is visualized through monthly calendars and charts illustrating money saved or spent, promoting awareness and accountability. We'll also offer valuable resources for individuals struggling with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and provide general information for those seeking greater understanding. 

Finally, a calming and reassuring visual style has been designed to create a safe and approachable user experience. Through this comprehensive approach, Team Rad aims to empower young Canadians to take control of their alcohol consumption and access the support they need.
