Alessandra Huang is a product designer and interaction designer who holds a bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Technology and Economics from Simon Fraser University.
She has project experience with web design, mobile app and UI/UX design, information design, 3D animation, film (horror and documentary) making, storytelling and graphic design. During these projects she not only improved her technical skills but also her leadership skills in order to achieve her ambition of becoming a project manager before 30.
Alessandra has experience as a product designer and UI/UX designer at a local technology start-up company in Vancouver. She utilized her professional knowledge helping the company build brand identity and created digital products, including a website and mobile app. During the growth period, she learned product operation, user growth and how to connect the product to the business.
Alessandra believes crafting elegant solutions through goals-centered design helps people and companies create delightful digital products to promote overall product experiences.
Alessandra's goals with the Master of Digital Media program are to refine her design and management skills, open her mind while collaborating with peers with interdisciplinary backgrounds and to build up her confidence through industry projects.
