Gabriel graduated from Federal University of Amazonas in Brazil with a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering. His senior year brought him abroad to Germany for a Software Engineering focused program at Stuttgart Universität. Five years worth of undergraduate experience cultivated a strong academic background in Front End Development, System Development, Project Management and Unity programming skills developed through freelance work.
He was able to implement his learnings on his six month internship at MAP Technologies as a Front End developer for mobile applications, collaborating with a team of designers and programmers on robust applications. Afterwards, he started another internship program at P&G as a Manager Intern. The year long program greatly enhanced leadership skills, problem solving and critical thinking. This experience with P&G enriched his personal and professional skills by encouraging participation on important decisions that directly affected the company's overall performance.
Over the last year, Gabriel has worked at SIDIA - Samsung Institute of Development of Amazonas. He has taken on the role of Software Developer and Project Manager, working on several projects distributed across Latin America.
Gabriel's passionate curiosity and appetite for knowledge fuels an interest in working with new technologies. For the past five years, the love of creating games inspired learning and utilizing tools available in Unity. Friendly and easy-going, he also likes to play guitar, go on hikes, read and play games in his spare time.
During the MDM program, Gabriel expects to further develop his programming, communication and management skills while working on new challenges and connecting with equally driven peers. After completing the program, he expects to work as a developer at a gaming or software company.
