Cedric Price And Joan Littlewood’s Fun Palace Carnival of Mixed Realities was an idea - a concept sketched out in 1964. Over 50 years later, CDM’s Hangar will see this low-fidelity sketch come to life with a mix of AR, VR, and MR art installations. The team at CDM has been tasked with the challenge to rapidly prototype an engaging mixed realities layer, drawing from(but not limited to) cybernetics, cognitive psychology, and art.

Situated in the Hangar at the Centre for Digital Media on June 25th 6-10pm, this free event will allow audiences to engage with dancers, actors, musicians and a host of real and virtual animations and objects. The CDM team is a satellite team, designing and developing this experience to coincide with the American Society for Cybernetics Conference hosted by UBC on June 24th-26th.
