Henrique Arrais graduated from SENAC University, Brazil with a Bachelors in Digital Interface Design and is passionate about board and digital games. With a focus in the Brazilian Social Games Market, he understands both the hard and casual gamer’s mind. He has been using his passion and knowledge to design business games that teach employees and employers important concepts, such as leadership, teamwork, feedback and company culture.
Through his experience, Henrique has developed his own leadership skills, but his hunger for knowledge brought him to the Master of Digital Media program. Here he worked as the game designer on a serious game for the First Nations Technology Council under the guidance of Roadhouse Interactive. He is currently working as a gamification expert in a pitched project with team Bu-O that is developing a platform that facilitates crowd-sourcing of game design.
He loves the challenges of transforming messages in game mechanics and the complexity of understanding players’ behavior through analysis of game data.
