Karan is unique in that he is gifted both in logical thinking and being people smart. He is a perfect example of a liaison within technology, creativity, and practicality. He is extremely passionate about procedural development where there is a replication of the real-world environments and has worked on several projects including dynamic city building and randomized island generation.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) from Gujarat Technological University, India after which he joined TM Systems Pvt. Ltd. as a Unity 3D Developer. During his work, he contributed to the domain of VR (Oculus, HTC Vive) to make Games and Architectural Visualizations. Following the experience at TM Systems, he joined AXPORTER as a Production Engineer (Computer & Information systems). He was primarily assigned to maintain the information systems of the company and provide any technical support as required. He was soon promoted and started handling client inquiries in the computer and IT domain. He was an active participant in designing advertisement campaigns and social media marketing.
In 2020, Karan moved on to join Galactic Thumb to pursue his passion for game development. He worked on the development of several hyper-casual games for both Android and IOS. He has continued his long term practice in developing game assets and has provided his services to various startups and organizations. During his final year of college, he also delivered the first-ever introductory game development workshop at his university, indulging a variety of audiences from academic and professional realms.
Karan aspires to work in the game development industry as a team player. He is a results-driven professional who does not hesitate to challenge the status quo. His profound knowledge about the subject and ability to bring multifaceted departments together finally bringing out creative solutions will be highly appreciated at any organization that he is part of. As a long term goal, Karan wishes to lead and grow a multifaceted team of creative individuals by sharing his knowledge with them.
